Unique places in the area

Walks

Dolinka Za Bramką – the nearest valley (five minutes from the House) is calm, with a beautifully winding stream and Jasiowe Turnie – perfect for a walk with children or a morning start.

Dolina Małej Łąki – wonderful, picturesque, little frequented, our favorite for everyday outings. For people who want to go higher, it is great as the beginning of a trip
to Giewont or Czerwony Wierchy.

Ścieżka pod Reglami – turning left, you will reach Wielka Krokiew, passing the valleys: behind Bramka, Strążyska, Ku Dziurze, Białego. Going the other way, you will reach the exit of the Kościeliska Valley (passing the Mała Łąki Valley and the Staników żleb). Very
popular for walks, we recommend that you stop at the Roma cafe at the end of the Strążyska Valley for a delicious coffee and cake. You can walk your dog here.

Food

Restauracja Javorina on Strążyska Street – you can get there by following the trail “Droga pod Reglami” or just by car –
excellent regional cuisine, huge fireplace, nice atmosphere

Restauracja Bubuja – great original cuisine, beautiful interior and our friendly chef Sławek. Right next to Krupówki. It’s stunnung!

Restauracja Casa Mia – a lovely and intimate restaurant on upper Krupówki with delicious food. We recommend!

Leśniczówka Resto Bar – located right next to the trailheads in Kuźnice, within the Tatra National Park. Delicious and creative dishes, blending regional and Alpine cuisines.

Culture

Willa Koliba – a magnificent house designed by Stanisław Witkiewicz, transformed into a beautiful museum of the Zakopane style.

Kino Miejsce – an intimate studio cinema near the city park. This is where you can watch the best movies with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Willa Oksza – a beautiful branch of the Tatra Museum. It attracts the attention of lovers of Zakopane style architecture. You can see there a permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions.

Władysław Hasior Gallery – a dedicated gallery showcasing the works of the artist who was attending the school in Zakopane. Hasior used everyday objects and symbols of folk culture, giving them new, and often provocative meanings.

Skiing

Polana Szymoszkowa – skiing in winter, swimming pools and a scenic railway in summer – seven minutes by car

Trasy Biegowe –  five minutes by car, beautiful scenic and well-maintained. Koscielisko Chotarz.

Budzowski Wierch – a small ski slope ideal for learning. Five minutes on foot.

Kasprowy Wierch Ski Slope  – one of the most famous and challenging ski slopes in Poland, located in the heart of the Tatra Mountains and offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.
